Founder and Editor
Karina Holly

Over six years ago, following my move from London to southwest France, I founded Philanthropy in Europe magazine seeking to use my prior experience to develop a European understanding of fundraising research.

I have also used this knowledge to contribute to and compile a number of specialist funding directories in this field and to provide individual consultancy and prospect research services to numerous clients in Europe and elsewhere, including Brazil, the United States and the Philippines.

I have worked for around fifteen years in the world of philanthropy and journalism, looking at subjects as diverse as the impact of charitable funding on the UK’s National Health Service, the growth of philanthropy amongst Asians in Europe and the use of the media by non-profit organisations. Edited Trust Monitor for five years; the UK's leading magazine profiling foundation giving.

Clients include:

CARE International, United States
National Autistic Society, UK
IMD, (Institute of Management Development) Switzerland
